Picture Retake day will be Monday, November 13th for students who were absent on picture day, students who did not get their picture taken on picture day, students new to WMS, and students needing their picture retaken. If a picture package was purchased and retakes are needed, please return the original packaged. If you would like to order pictures, please see the attached flyer or a flyer can be picked up at WMS.

We are also finishing up our United Way campaign with change wars and a Pie in the Face contest. Votes for the pie in the face will be $1 each. The grade level that collects the most change will get an awesome reward. Change and Pie votes will be collected at lunch Monday through Wednesday.

We want to remind you that we are fast approaching the deadline for students to have their physical and immunization information turned in per state guidelines.
Please make sure that you have contacted your school’s nurse with your child’s upcoming physical/immunization appointment or that you have turned in your physical and immunization paperwork this week.
Students failing to provide required health information will be excluded from school starting October 1st.

Incoming 6th grade students are invited to attend a 6th grade orientation at their home school on Thursday, August 10th, from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Students will engage in activities, tour the school and learn more about their upcoming middle school experience. Please note that bus routes will be running that day as well.

All summer school programs and SCOPE are canceled Friday, June 30, to allow maintenance staff to assess and clean up buildings and grounds.
We expect all programs to resume next week as normally scheduled.
All students and staff in summer programs are safe. Buses will run at the normal time, but routes may take longer due to traffic or blocked streets. Families are welcome to pick up students early. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
