At WMS, students are working on becoming strategic, fluent readers in all content areas.

In order to keep our building more secure and also to properly supervise our students at WMS, we are asking all students who walk to school and all students who are car riders to please arrive AFTER 7:35 A.M.  Thank you for your help with this.

Mission Statement

At WMS we believe that all students can learn. The mission of our school is to create and maintain an environment that ensures that each student reaches a high level of academic achievement as determined by Illinois Learning Standards. Student achievement will be measured by ongoing assessments. We will implement necessary interventions and adjustments in instruction. We are prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to achieve this educational purpose.
